How to Stop Seeing Someone's Posts on Your Facebook page

It’s good to have many friends on Facebook. It’s a convenient way to stay in touch if you don’t have the time to meet.

While most friends post content that you would be interested in, others tend to ‘abuse’ the platform.

Some make frequent posts on matters that don’t interest you. Some makes ‘undesirable’ posts which make you uneasy. This would include promoting their products and services.

You wonder if you can stop seeing these types of posts.

Yes, you can.

There are three options to stop seeing someone’s posts on your Facebook page without unfriending them.

Log in to Facebook

Follow these steps to learn how to use them.

After logging in to Facebook, look for the person’s post.

Click on the three dots in the top right-hand corner to use the three options

Hide a Post

If you hide a post, you’ll stop seeing that particular post.

From the three dots choose Hide post.

This option is useful if you want to hide the person’s particular posts.

Will the person be notified if you hide her posts?

Of course, you would not want the person to know.

The good news is the person will not know that you’ve chosen to hide her posts.

You can unhide the post later if you change your mind. Click on the Undo button at the top.

Snooze

If you snooze a person, you’ll not see the person’s posts for 30 days.

After 30 days have passed, the person’s posts will reappear.

Yes, you may choose to undo Snooze by hitting the Undo button.

Unfollow

You may also choose the Unfollow option if you don’t permanently want to see the person’s posts.

Yes, there’s the undo option, too, if you prefer to unfollow.

Those are the quick and easy ways to stop seeing someone’s posts on your Facebook page without unfriending them.

Choose your preference and give it a try.
